  1. Finally!!! I have spoken to my brother for YEARS about teams dragging their butt back to the bench on a change. This is a very vulnerable time and it happens so many times a game. Everyone has to get to the bench so the next line can enter the play and not be behind. The Canucks were just as bad as the other teams that were in the bottom of the league in this action. Why didn't highly paid coaches push this fundamental!!!???

  2. As well as changes to the next shift, the D has to get up into the play. Of course they have to be aware of a fast break if the other team achieves possession, BUT, when we have the puck, get up the ice and be a part of the play! It's so obvious but so many D just "hang back". That means, you have 3 players in the offensive zone vs 5 defenders. DO THE MATH!!!

  3. Turns out tocchet's secret strategy was all about the art of changing. Who knew mastering the quick shirt swap could be the key to unlocking peak performance on the ice? Next up: synchronized sock removal drills

  4. rick tocchet didnt turn it around. It was the whole organization and standing in there and taking it while they made changes.
