[Koshan] Samsonov commence demain soir. » #Feuilles
It’s easy to appear to work harder than your coworkers when you get a couple week vacation that they didn’t.

This is insanity. Waivers to earned the net in blink of an eye. Watching closely, Sammy does not look any better. He is still way too off his post and over committing, which has been his issue. He has gotten some luck factor, and the team seems to be playing better D the last few games. I hope he can be serviceable until Woll gets back.

I thought he looked solid in his 3 wins since returning (and absolutely fantastic in that shutout against Winnipeg). The bar has definitely been lowered, but he was absolutely unplayable, putting up historically bad numbers prior to being sent down. The team *has* been tighter defensively as of late, but Sammy only allowing 3 goals in 3 games is noteworthy, too.
Rome can’t be (re)built in a day. He’s not gonna return to last year’s Sammy in a few short weeks. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been close to that this season for a prolonged stretch anyways. Expectations have changed, but I think fans and the team alike are just hoping he can be average or above and hold down the fort until Woll returns. I like what I saw before the break. I’ll take wins and a squad that’s more committed to team defence if the compromise is that Sammy’s game is not exactly positionally sound. Plus, it’s good to see some smile back. Confidence and mental health issues are no joke. I hope we’ll all rooting for the guy.

> He voluntarily cut his break short and got back on the ice.
Are we going to get fined for a breach of the CBA or something? I honestly don’t even know if I’m joking or not.
In any case, I love Sammy and he went into the all-star break hot so of course we should ride him until he gives us a reason not to.
