I have no problem with double-Elias but I think everyone and their dog thought the purpose of bringing in a 2nd line center was to unleash the Lotto Line.
Trade Mikheyev for Hoglander and call it the Swedish meatball line
Mikheyev-Pettersson-Lindholm is going to be a suffocating line to play against, ideally giving one of the lines a better matchup offensively
Would like to see Lindholm at centre considering his faceoff % is far better than Pete’s – 55 vs 49

All the toronto analyst could talk about was how strong down the middle we’d be now with elias 1 and 2, and millsy. Guess they forgot to check with tocc, we all knew the elias’s were going to be 1 line. Suter is a more than capable centre, the main thing is having so many options, versatile forwards. Injuries will happen, and playoff teams will shutdown 1 line at least, but now we can easily change on the fly and not miss a beat. Exciting times for Canuck fans, finally!

maybe this line will get mik going. i remember tocchet saying in an interview that it was hard for mik to make plays because he’s always trying to adapt to kuzy’s change in play style or something
