  1. OWNERSHIP is the problem in Arizona has always been the issue. I feel bad for the fans, they deserve so much more than what ownership never delivered. I don't see them finding a chunk of land, no matter where in the Valley of the sun, Real Estate is very expensive.😢

  2. welcome back sir now all the Sabres need is a few more season ending injuries and they will be drafting in the 1-2 or 3 position in the draft their biggest need right now is a physical conditioning coach

  3. Welcome back, Shannon! I'm ready for the playoff push and eager to watch your coverage of it! LET'S GO RANGERS!!!

  4. I disagree,, NHL makes more money from the olympics (and this is big esp for kids).. u remember that Crosby goal from 2010 when pitts won vs buffalo in game 65? or is there another goal from him you remember?

  5. Really unfortunate about Samuelsson, but as opposed to last year when the Sabres looked absolutely lost without him in the lineup, Buffalo is actually 7-0-1 without Sammy in the lineup this season. So they are not so dependent on him this season.

  6. We love what Samuelsson brings but these absences are killing any chance of consistency as to the lineup.

  7. Kucherov showed his a$$. That's his decision to do that the same way its McDavid's decision to keep the money or donate it.

  8. Welcome back dude! Glad you had a good time down there. The McDavid controversy about the skills competition, is understandable, if you were to have a competition for a Jersey giveaway then declare yourself the winner, or had someone else announce it. Oh course people would feel out of sorts about it,thinking the fix was in. It's a natural conclusion to make, it will be hard to change peoples minds about it. I don't know who normally gets to design these skill competitions, but it might be wise for the league to hire retired greats like Gretzky, and Mario lemeiux to design these for next year.

  9. Samuelsson isn't a loss. He's awful, overrated, amd overpaid. The guys is 100% made of glass. He gives you what you need 2 out of 10 games. Not nearly enough.

Rasmus Dahlin should be nicknamed the garbage man because nobody has to carry around as much trash as he has had to for every shift of his NHL career.

  10. Gary Buttman is the last person who should be talking about expansion, cause he sucks at it ! Period

  11. Really happy that Pulju is back ! Now finally at 25 years, the expectations and salary match what he is capable of. Hopefully his hip problems are gone now and he can enjoy playing again ! Go Pulju go ! ❤

  12. What about keeping the Skills competition, but having the Current Stanley Cup Champions against the #1 team in the league at the all-star break…and if the #1 team IS the current champs, then have the NEXT team (so #2 in the league.)…that way, you get to see all the really skilled players from around the league, AND you get to see a more competitive All-Star hockey game….but what do I know, I'm old.

  13. I did not like how only a few players participated in the ALL-STAR skills. Mostly Canadian player. This ALL-STAR game seemed to be very Canadian bias. I get it it was in Toronto. We all know the fan vote is a joke! They do NOT actually put who the fans vote for. They need to go back to 5v5 East V West. Top teams should get more players in. If your team is in first you should get more players. If your team is bottom ten you get 1 player.

  14. Maybe the board of gov needs to make a requirement of the amount of seats an NHL arena needs to have. Maybe some other requirements need to be added. Such as room on visitor's bench for all player including the backup goalie. Visitor's locker room sizes etc….. Yes as a Canes fan I think this should be done. I am aware of the smaller visitor's bench and the tiny visitor's locker room at PNC. The refs room is also pretty bad. Apparently these issues will be addressed with the remodeling of PNC that will also include the area around PNC. These are set to attract other tournament's and events such as NCAA basketball and Hockey as the area colleges set to apply for expansion in the top NCAA .

  15. McDavid is already forced to give the Canadian Gov'ts $650,000 of the million … yea make him give the rest to sexual assault victims of Canadian Hockey players.

  16. I know of no one who even knew about 'all-star weekend'. And none care what happened, even kids I saw.

  17. Love these daily news of the day. Probably the only video i watch consistently. Didn't even bother with the other rankings videos.

  18. My biggest issue with the skills competition was how many All-Stars were excluded from the event. Pretty lame F you to them.

  19. It was kind of funny when McJesus won the skill competition he helped design, but he is the best hockey player on the planet and I'm just glad that they're trying to rescue the All Star weekend skill competition from becoming a bad joke.

  20. I really like what the Pens did with Puljujärvi. Not much risk with such a low cap hit and like Shannon said, the potential is still there.

  21. I really loved watching the power rankings videos particularly because you started tracking it right around the time that I took a few years' break from hockey. I'd say more than half of the teams that were in the bottom 16 would've been on the other side of the line when I was watching, so seeing the charts of how they started to fall off was fascinating and did really help explain the state of the league as it is now compared to when I left. Seeing Chicago, Anaheim, and San Jose in particular so far down was unimaginable when I was watching.
