Wonder what a package would have to be given to the Ducks. Most likely Kakko is going back the other way with a 1st rd pick? Or is it even more due to centers being a pivotal pickup at this year's deadline. I know this might sound crazy, but if Rangers miss out on acquiring a RW, how about looking at Phil Kessel? Right now unsigned and probably would sign for 800k and would cost no assets. Not ideal, granted but would be a good option C or D if all else fails.
I'd be fine with dishing kakko for this if streakiness is the worry Kakko doesn't even streak he just nothings . I think the smaller market would benefit kakko aswell hes not a broadway type of guy imo.
Never should have let Vatrano go the first time. If we get him again, keep him. Release Goodrow, Wheeler and Pitlick. Bring up some of the kids for next year.

They should have never let Vatrano go, they better not give up someone that is good, this is the same problem where the organization starts to panic and they give up good player. Kakko a disappointment on scoring. Wheeler not so consistent, coaches need to pay attention to Laffy he's always roaming and open they need to feed him more often at his favorite spot.

I don't know what to say if I'm honest. Well actually I do. Chris Drury and Dolan runs the show, they can do what they want.
But I just feel like this will turn into another Buch situation, which would be okay if they win the cup, which we already know they ain't, so that's that.
But as players I do like them, especially Vatrano. It is just very poor asset management, again by mr D and D.
I am fully comfortable parting with 5he Marshmallow Man for 2 pieces…Vatrano is only 29 and Henrique is a solid performer…After watching Lundqivist, Kakko, Kratsov and that other guy they drafted 7th whose name I can't remember…These 2 also have performed well in the playoffs……Ready to part with Kakko and #1 and either a mid-level draft or lower round draft pick.
