  1. Vanek in Vancouver is a pure scorer, Vancouver needs a goaltender until Demko is ready, no connection there?

  2. Now the coyotes have a good backup. Losing reider is tough, but I wouldn't be surprised to see coyotes in playoffs next season

  3. Kings should not of traded kuemper he has played so well they are screwed if quick gets hurt he probably will based off of how he plays bad trade no point of it. It’s also a waste of cap space.

  4. Second straight year, the Kings downgrade their backup goalie. Kuemper's stats were better than Quick's and he didn't mind being the backup. And with Quick not having one of his best seasons, and being in the thick of the playoff chase, you need to have a reliable backup. Kuemper helped get the Kings a regulation win in a very difficult building last night, and now you downgrade him for Wedgewood. This is worse than trading Budaj for Bishop.

And I'm sure Kuemper would have resigned for a discount. The Coyotes resigned him for a steal of a price.

  5. much like Peter Budaj last year, leave it to us to make dumb trades involving goalies. quick hasn't had the best of seasons. Darcy was a really solid backup. honestly after the dion phaneuf deal, which I do support, I felt fine offensively.

  6. this was such a steal the Kings don't even have reider or wedgewood anymore while we have Kuemper as our backup goalie and he's had a great second season with us
