Jesse puljujarvi signing was the worst should have brought up poulin instead.. trade Jesse the clown for frank vatrano.. he's slow to. We need guys who are tough
I think Jesse P. could be another value player like DOC. Doesn't break the bank, is young and has a 200ft game (from what ive read). I think in a perfect world rak and smith step it up (or a trade is made) and help malkin and Doc-eller-J.P. become a pretty nasty third line. Then there's the fourth line hahahah
I like how we talk about professional athletes… "oh, $800,000 isn't much, it's not gonna break the bank." For what it's worth, Jesse should be a neurosurgeon, and Karlsson should be able to write in cursive with his feet while juggling swords with his eyeballs.

When Jesse was commenting on Graves, I literally said "So what I'm hearing is that it's not a good fit" and then Jesse said it wasn't. Unfortunate that it seems to be that case, since Graves just signed a 6 contract. $4.5 million per year is a lot to pay a bottom pairing D-man. Makes one wonder if they'll try to trade him at some point by next year.
Enjoy this podcast for the most part. Brlansky is a good, knowledgeable host, but sometimes listening to Horwat gives me a headache. He just seems unprepared most of the time and stumbles over words and ideas. Seems like being a good public speaker or comfortable in that role is something that would be required for a podcast and almost every show it seems like he struggles.

EK had 12 points in 12 games in Jan (on a low scoring team with the worst PP) so a pretty good month considering. His slump in December crushed his overall numbers. On pace for 61 points but I'm hoping he can crack 70. 70 points would be an excellent year for a team with such an abysmal PP.
