Do you see them bringing up Lohrei to fill that left pair with McAvoy? They play well together. Sure, Lohrei can be a liability but he's NHL ready and would rather see them pick up some more firepower on the top 6. Also, can we see Frederick on second line!
DeBrusk on a 1-2 yr incentive heavy contract…to prove he deserves a LT contract…his overall, 200ft game has been sound. Need to get lines solidified, instead of picking out of a hat…what line is he on next shift???

Maroon, O' Brien, Devonte, Smith, Maybe Reaves since it doesn't seem to be working out in Toronto.
Wouldn't give up much for any of them, and ideally would prefer someone who plays that style with a little more skill, say Lawson Crouse/ Jack McBain?
The last two would obviously take more to get but could be around for a long time.
As far as Hanafin, you mentioned giving up Lohrei in the deal. Wouldn't the more logical scenario be, give up Carlo and replace him with Lohei in order to help balance out the money a bit?
Is replacing Gryz/ Carlo with Hanafin/Lohrei an upgrade?

DeBrusk needs to be dealt. He'll be looking for a long term contract this offseason. He's already done the "team friendly" deal. Time to get paid. Easily a +7m$ cap hit. The projected cap increase, signing DeBrusk will take over half of that. He needs to go.
And regardless what our opinions are. DeBrusk's agent is going to sell him as a top-line forward.

My guys were hanifin and duclaire. I could see hanifin going to a contender as long as it’s not Toronto I don’t care where but then saying I’m not signing anywhere but Boston. So then why duclaire. It’s both or none
