This is basically a 4 game suspension if you count the match penalty assessed <5mins into the 2nd period. The Gallagher headshot got 5 (Match was assessed in the third period).
Only DOPS, lead by a former team mate of Gallagher btw, thinks these hits are anything close to on par from a disciplinary perspective. I don’t think it’s a stretch to think there is at least some bias involved when DOPS makes its decisions.
Every single fanbase would agree that DOPS is inconsistent at best. Idk why the owners and NHLPA arnt making more noise.
