They won, but there are still mistakes in their game. They should be one of the top teams, but they are slipping.
It was a good effort of a game but still allowed four goals but in the end good game
For Leafs to move above Wildcard spot level is positive. JT looked pretty good. By playoffs – this style of win (play) won’t work against Florida or the Bruins. But until the playoffs – Leafs should keep the 3rd playoff spot.😀

I can't see much of the games here in Brasil , but I catch the highlights. The timeline is a bit late for me.
So, I was looking at the score sheet at the end of the 2nd, and I was thinking hum, Mathews only 1 shot, gotta get a few more shots than that, well he DiD get a few more.
Then I went down the line , hum no JT, Marner only 1 shot.
After the game was over , I came back to the board. OOH , JT got 1😅 monkey off the back 🤣
Little further down the board, AHA Marner got 1 .

Keefe happy tonight. Vaunted Sens Saturday. Sens 6-2-2 over last 10 games. Laffs will need a better effort defensively and have a better start from the the get go. Or, the Laffs will be in a real world of hurt, losing 4 straight to Sens. How Embarrassing if that should happen.

They needed the win and some bounces definitely, DEFINITELY went their way. Samsonov despite the win was very weak on some of the goals. He needs to stay in net and build upon the success.
Leaf scoring was also the byproduct of a goalie who was off their game. Against a formidable goalie they'd get stymied 9 out of 10 times on those goals.

Even in a win you can see how clueless keefe is. Giordano and Brodie with Nylander at center on the pk? They get scored on seconds in…and then he keeps going back to it anyway… What is this dude thinking. Fire this guy and free William Lagesson, we shouldn't need every star player to score to win games. Why is Gio still playing? why is Brodie on the top pair? both have been awful every night all season long. Does keefe have another job lined up and is trying to get fired…that's the only thing that makes sense at this point. What is Treliving waiting for? They have 3 teams threatening to take them out of a playoff spot can we get these guys a real coach.
