I like to think Canucks were being very generous to the bruins tonight, pity to bruins for losing to flames & demko not hugging swayman at all stars LOL.

Eh, anyways it’s only regular season game, we’re still making the playoffs. They better NOT play this lousy playoff time.

  2. CamaroGirl96

It’s hard especially when there’s so much hype. Two of the top teams. While I’m fine with a loss, it sucks it’s such a bad one. If we battled to the end and kept exchanging goals it would have been great.

Crazy seeing Petey benched even if it’s only for a shift.

Next game they’ll be out for blood!

  3. Apprehensive-Tea4881

We found out the hard way that lobster rolls are not a great pregame snack.

  4. manicdragon

Tocchets post game presser goes so hard. This guy is a great coach.

  5. Holyshitmuffin

Lotto bluger lines should be the only 2 not touched

  6. cbcguy84

I knew Boston would come out hard after their last loss. Anyway we just had a 12 game point streak, it had to end eventually. Too bad it was a pretty bad one here. On to the next one

  7. ForceEconomy9988

Its amazing how my appetite for listening to Canucks podcasts goes to 0 after a loss

  8. julesieee

I guess Desmith will start the Detroit game? I honestly wouldn’t mind.

  9. kentalish

Why did Kuzy get benched for giving away puck but Petterson doesn’t?

  10. ChenWei91

Kinda glad I forgot the game was on…

  11. thefullpython

We were due for a stinker. Better now than in the playoffs. The complete lack of anything on the powerplay is concerning though. They better figure their shit out against these penalty kills that play tight to the point

  12. Nuxfan1404

I expect this was the last game with Mikheyev in the top 6

  13. SloJuicer

At least it’s not on home ice and didn’t cost us a cup

This game was unsettling and brought back memories of 2011. I ended up bear maced, pepper sprayed and tear gassed just coming home from work at Pacific Centre when it was Concord Security.    I’m thankful for the yellow cab driver who drove me home when I couldn’t breathe.

Even the next day I swept up glass and debris and help board up windows.

In the end, we’ll rebound and get stronger.

Im just glad this game wasn’t held in Vancouver.

  15. gybegybe

The Oilers vs Sharks game was more exciting than this 🙁

  16. Voltage604

    I don’t mind losing.

I mind losing like this. Our best players need to play like our best players. Our 3rd line can not be the go to solution everytime. We ignore it when we are winning but we shouldn’t. The top six needs to show some emotion and battle every shift.

  17. They’re gonna get smoked in the playoffs when the PPs aren’t being handed out like candy and they have zero muscle to push back

  18. westcoaster86

It’s the kind of loss they needed to get ready for the playoffs. It’s not the end of the world, that’s for sure. Perfect teaching game for Tocc.

  19. saddam1

Guys, Canucks had a bad game. They’re still awesome. Bruins are a bunch of pickled beetroots, so fuck em. On to the next game.

  20. ooMEAToo

We will see what the next game brings, there are going to be awful games here and there. Planning the parade two days ago and planning the riot today.

  21. Left_Guidance_5766

The chance of the Canucks winning the Stanley cup went up after this loss. On a side note Petey needs to step it up and start playing, if he wants 12 mil.

  22. w0lfbrains

« Don’t You Forget About Me » is playing at the pub I’m at right now. Don’t rub it in!

  23. unbannedcoug

Tocchet showing so much poise and composure but hey lol we aren’t in the playoffs yet, we got lots of things to work on and it’s good we had this terrible loss

  24. shadownet97

Genuinely concerned about the powerplay. It’s gone from lethal to average to stagnant to bleeding goals against.

Really happy the PK stepped up to shut the Bruins PP down though. Only highlight of the game I suppose.

On the bright side, this is only the second time we got shutout this season. Three months.

  25. Looney_forner

Every team shits the bed at least a couple times per season. Too bad it was our turn today

  26. starrynova888

Fucking weak. Got bullied just like SCF G7 where we lost 4-0 at home. I hope Tocc tear them a new one after the game.

  27. BluRasp420

Whelp looks like it was a good game to fall asleep before puck drop..

  28. shausco

It just sucks that pregame Tocchet talked about “these are the games you get up for” and they just shat the bed! Oof. But, also good to have some adversity now and see if they can use it, learn from it, and improve on it for when it really matters.

  29. Holyshitmuffin

If pettersson waddles his way into allvins office demanding 12m trade him

  30. Overfly0501

Hello good sirs when is the riot starting?

  31. metrichustle

In games like this, I wish we had Brady Tkachuk

  32. natedogjulian

Well at least Kuzy scored again. Can’t wait to meet him, Tanev and Marky in the playoffs 👍🏼

  33. ezkc1236

Are there any details about Aman’s bday gathering?

What are the chances of the boys behaving and having non-alcoholic beverages and goin to bed early? lol

  34. AccomplishedAd4995

just watched tocc’s postgame, he doesn’t even look pissed he’s just flat out disappointed

  35. TimsAFK

And we never spoke of this game again……

  36. tomfrommyspacee

I mean. We are going to lose. Boston is a good team. A couple bad bounces. Sloppy passes and it’s 4-0.

The one part of this team that has been extra special this year, is how they respond to losses. Let’s hope for a strong effort next game.

I’d say put the lotto line back together and see what Lindholm can do with a line of his own.

  37. BigCockBrockBoeser

    Where’s the 🌈 I WANNA DIE 🐋 meme?

    I need some support.

  38. Sweaty-Salad95

Of course it was a 4-0 L against the Bruins…

As much as I hate the result, this team might benefit from a bit of a rough patch to make them ramp up their play down the stretch and in to the playoffs. Some adversity could be a good thing. (Aside from previous seasons) For the most part, they’ve been cruising this year.

Let’s forget this one and move on to the next. 🤮

  39. fanbullshitdetector

As IMac just pointed out in the post game, this is only the Canucks 3rd regulation loss… since December 5th.

  40. Anynomoussse

Missed the game – but hows the petey-lindy-suter line tonight?

  41. At least that’s the only game in that hellhole this season. Hopefully they knocked out in R1 and we never have to see it again until next season

  42. JohnnyJinglo

not worried, bruins are a good team and the canucks just didnt have it tn. Next game we be back! go nucks!
