@Canucks de Vancouver

#nhl #faits saillants #hockey #bostonbruins #vancouvercanucks

  1. I was really hoping we would score on every Shorthanded opportunity, the moment we scored on 2 of them.

I know every team has their streaks, their games where they show up. Bruins have been abysmal at staying IN games this whole season. Play for maybe 10 minutes and just pray that we don’t give up more than we scored.

Last night was a near similar story…but I’ll be honest. With the Arena being as dead as it was. I didn’t even think that the B’s were at risk. Sure we had a few things (rightfully) go our way, but…Nucks didn’t really get much done.

No disrespect to the Nucks. They are one of 2 Canadian Teams I find hilarious enough to cheer for, the other is the Sens.

Still love the blowouts that the Nucks did to the Oilers at the start of the season. Gahhleeeee! I personally, would love a 2011 rematch. No Timmy to save us this time! No Luongo to cost y’all the series this game either. Heh. 7 game series, so long as the Nucks remain healthy, same with my B’s. be a good showdown I think. Hopeful for the same outcome of course.

    Edit: Shothanded-Shorthanded

  2. something I've noticed is that occasionally, the bruins will do so shit (like they did against the flames) that Bergeron comes back to talk to them all before the game, and every time that happens, the bruins have an incredible game like this

  3. Petey on ice for 2 short handed goals, tocc was pissed! He will bounce back, always does!

  4. Obviously probably won't happen but imagine if Bruins and Canucks go to the cup. Wonder if vancouver would riot again?

  5. As a B's fan, this made me very happy. There was NO WAY Heinen should have scored that shortie.. He blew by both those D like they were asleep.

  6. Teams that fail against Boston are the ones who lack discipline, I think there is such top end players for Vancouver, they are a great team, but they can’t let petty stuff get to them, every team at every level has this happen to them. I know rivalry can create some great tv, but all it does is mess up the players rhythm, if they go into the game thinking it’s just another hockey game like any other they would be fine, but just like the leafs, they put way too much pressure on the players in order to create a big spectacle for the fans.

  7. Why is there beef between 2 teams of players who weren’t even around in 2011. 2 completely different teams and players so how is there beef?

  8. That Tocchet coaching style may be wearing heavy on a team that is relying heavily on an outlandish shooting percentage and a hot goalie.

  9. It’s funny my dad came Into my room. I was playing video games and he told me to guess the score I said 4 0 Canucks winning and I didn’t check the score once

  10. And THAT is why Vancouver will exit the playoffs in the first round.
    They don’t have the grit.

  11. 5 all stars, with an all star coach.. what an embarrassing team. On paper they should’ve won this game.

  12. I dont like using the word hate, but there is 3 things I do hate in this life, the Boston Bruins, the Vancouver Canucks, and Elias Pettersson. I wish both teams could have lost that game.

  13. Don’t forget.. the Canucks point leeched off the terrible Sharks and Oilers at the early part of the season. That’s 10-12 points right there.

  14. Nucks are overrated. Good, but not great. Idiots in my town talking Final matchups! I love the team, always have and will, but it’s marquee games like this that make me reserve plans for a parade, haha!

  15. Nothing can replace the memory of Boston losing to the Panthers in the first round of the playoffs. It lives rent free in my head and forever will.

  16. This was the third time since the 2011 finals that the Bruins have beaten the Canucks 4-0, and I remember years ago (2015 I believe) the B's did it in Vancouver. Being at that game, it was certainly fun to rub in the first 4-0 win against the 'Nucks since those finals on the way home

  17. Big bounce back Win over Vancouver!! Bruins dominated the game but I expect we will see a different Vancouver team when we play them later in the month. LETS GO BRUINS!!!!

  18. It looks like the Cucks are starting to come down to earth..knew they couldn’t continue all season long..
