    What about this is questionable??

  2. Windex-Sniffer

Sounds like he feels bad for the kid and is happy with his play.

  3. LouisWu987

Hey, he was on the scoresheet three times tonight!

He’s just talking him up in an attempt to boost his trade value…at least I hope that’s what he’s doing.

I mean a lot of people were saying he’s the only one not shitting the bed the past few games. Hell he was the best player against the flyers. Relatively been decent. But only when looking at these last few games.

Isn’t the ‘vote of confidence’ usually followed by a firing/trade?

It was a dumb question meant to bait him. Logan Stanley sucks, but the coach certainly shouldn’t be saying it out loud in the media. That’s Bones giving a nice political answer to defend his player and nothing more.

The coach isn’t going to shit talk a guy public ally who’s literally our 7th D

What do you expect? Hes not the type to throw someone under the bus in media

Bones putting on his politician cap there. Seriously though, the guy has played 2 games in the last 2 months. As a 7th d-man he did fine. That second call on Malkin was awful given some of the things they let go

I’d have a much much bigger problem if he came out and publicly trashed anyone on the team regardless of who it is

Man. The obsession by some people in this sub about Stanley is bizarre.

Then to think that the head coach is going to shit on a player in public is even more bizarre. Some people need to touch grass.

I mean they’re not gonna say what we’re all thinking – that makes the organization look bad and hurts whatever trade value he has left. He didn’t look good in sheltered minutes against a mediocre team but at this point Logan Stanley must be held to a different standard than the rest of the team by management, because it’s pretty clear what his ceiling is as a pro.

He played tough. Other than Dillon, who is out, who else is going to do that? For the amount he’s played, he wasn’t that bad. Has to get up to speed.

Notice the decrease in Stanley’s ice time after the second penalty though
