I deleted the Sportsnet app, asked my Son and friends to not bother talking to me about the Leaf's about three weeks ago. My cortisol level has gone down and my enjoyment of life has increased.
The Leafs are not going to do anything by what HAS to be by design. Too many individuals, a President whom I have lost faith in. A GM and coach whom I cringe at just looking at now. Captain Tavares also get's me frustrated (Reilly should have been made Captain).

Habs fan here just say to that what Rielly did at the end there… I am all for it. Literally no reason what so ever to slap shot the puck from 3 feet away into an empty net on a breakaway. Good on Rielly for giving a shit and answering. By far, the Leafs player I respect the most.

Point of emphasis, Steve… the bracelets were for an in-arena light show for a hype up video before the game. The tribute for Snyder was not the same and not related to the bracelets. His tribute video was a quiet, somber no-flashy-lighting tribute and shirts were on all seats for him. So yes, we (well I didn't throw mine) threw the bracelets which was embarrassing but AT LEAST they weren't part of the Snyder event.

Been a Leaf fan for many many years now, I think anyone of us that has been around for a while knew this loss was coming a mile away. Gonna be down Rielly for at least 2-3+ games now, going to make an already sketchy D line even worse.

The Sens players have to care because they know their fans will not tolerate a no show against Toronto or Montreal. Those are always the most important games emotionally, regardless of where anyone is in the standings.
