Big kill…
2 would have been fair, but not 5 and a game, thats a bit excessive
That is an awful thing to eject somebody for.
You gotta be fucking kidding me. Trash.
Terrible call. Should have been no penalty.
No Sammy, not like that.
Time for a shorty
What a joke of a penalty
Well that’s some bullshit
I don’t feel worried. Shorty incoming
So freaking uneven
Refs tied into the o/u
Time for a shorty
Certainly not a good hit, but it was far from intentional.
Refs wanted to keep the score from getting out of hand early, only possible explanation.
I get giving a minor for that, but a major and 5 minutes. Thats a little excessive. Even from yesterday I could’ve understood 2 minutes.
I absolutely thought they would have rescinded the entire penalty after review. How do they look at the player tripping himself as Blais being malicious??
The guys are looking a little slapdash, you can tell they have energy but they need to get centered. A lot of missed passes and puck control issues
Didn’t need to be a game misconduct but could’ve just been a minor. Refs trying to slow down the game and kill our energy.
And once again the NHL proving they actively recruit the worst beer league officials in sports. Abomination of a call
PK looking sharp so far
Their goal horn is excessive
I’m sorry but that’s one of the worst calls I’ve seen. It’s a fast game, how can Blais anticipate the guy falling when he’s committed to the check? 2 minute minor at worst which is even pushing it, insane to give him a game misconduct major over that.
Booooo
Fucking terrible turnover in stead of going for the safe clear
Fuck had an awesome kill the way till the end
Well, good kill… but…
GET TOREY KRUG OFF THIS FUCKING TEAM RIGHT NOW
Let’s give the secondary assist to the clowns in stripes on that one, they earned it.
Not worried about this game at all so far. Blues looking sharp as hell
In the Habs sub as well (live closer to Montreal than STL these days) and even they agree that call was weak.
LGB
I had to go poke around in the Habs game thread (I didn’t say anything and if I did it would have been well wishes for their guy) and there’s a fair amount of them saying that it was just bad timing and it should have been a double at most and was a bad call on Blais.
I know the league is going to review it and I hope don’t fine or suspend him. He was already bracing for the hit when the guy started to fall.
