Sorry Kov but I hope the next 29 games are high scoring losses where our top line and young d men light it up but we still lose, get a top 5 pick, trade Winnipeg’s 1st and ours for a top 4 pick, get Lindstrom, make some trades in the off-season for a top 6 forward, and then be slated for a playoff spot next year

It’s always possible until it isn’t. It’d be a shame if professional athletes phoned it in, so I expect them to fight tooth-and-nail until the last minute. The competitive fire will pay dividends when the roster is actually good enough to make the playoffs.

I love the way Kovacevic has stepped it up. Someone needs to put a voice to the frustration both on and off the ice. I hope that this results in a bit of a heater. I don’t care for tank talk, I want to see some wins and a team that fights hard every shift. Hopefully he’ll lead by example and drag a few on the team with him
It’s the right attitude to have and I hope this is what the team is pushing internally. If we look at the season so far though they’ve just never really been on a hot streak, it’s been hot and cold all season. They’re one of the most .500 teams to have ever .500’ed.

In order to get on a streak, your goalie needs to get hot, a goalie can’t get hot if he plays every 2-3 games. I don’t remember the last time a team had a 3 goalie rotation
