[Pagnotta] Les sénateurs magasinent activement Dominik Kubalik, sans surprise. Il est UFA en juillet. Cela pourrait être l’une des rares mesures prises par Ottawa avant la date limite.

We don’t really have the roster spots for him, but it might allow us to send another forward elsewhere if it was a good enough deal.
blujoker
Kubalik is no more of a two-way winger than anyone else we have so wouldn’t want him back but hope he lands in a good spot where he can thrive, poor guy deserves to go to a contender after having to play on the Sens
Tatar-Tot
Remember when Sens fans were adamant he was going to nearly as good as Debrincat for them?

Kubalik is the exact type of forward we don’t want or need.
GiantDongDK
Kubalik definitely deserves better than Ottawa but I personally don’t think there is room for him on this roster. Would rather see Berggren get the opportunity if we sell someone
Hope he kills it somewhere else, always liked him.
dylanisbored
I’d honestly take him. Even if he healthy scratched some nights in favor of Kostin or Fischer, he would be another great depth scoring piece and if the Wings do make a playoff run, injuries are likely and he can easily jump onto any line.
fraxior
I don’t think he fits what this team lacks right now. wouldn’t hate it if it was attainable with just a mid-round pick or two but I doubt it.
roofratMI
NOPE!
Coop3
He’s not the player he was, 12 points in 44 games, only averaging 1.25 shots a game, and not that +/- is a good stat, but he’s sitting at a -21 on the season.
No thanks.
SubmissionDenied
Well I was told he’d easily replace Debrincat.
Even was told Norris and Kubalik would outscore Debrincat. Using two players to outscore 1 is funny to begin with. But Norris+Kubalik have a combined 37 points, Debrincat (despite being in a bit of a rut) has 43

He won’t be in Detroit. Best of luck to him wherever he goes, though. He had a good vibe.
poodletown
Remember how dominant he was last spring in the world championships? Maybe he is a spring bloomer?
OctoWings13
I always like Kubalik, just way too overcrowded already right now

Kubalik is a great player for a rebuild.
We’re past that and are now polishing the roster to become a threat.
00HundredEyes
While I think his numbers and lack of production are largely due to who he’s playing with, no thanks.
MajorasShoe
He’s a fine bottom 6 player on a bad team like Ottawa, but he deserves better so I’m happy they’re moving him.
TheAnalogKid18
I just want to trade for him so that the Cat trade is like Boston’s 1st and like a 4th round pick lol
non_target_eh
So we ended up paying Bostons 1st round pick which will end up being in the 28-32 range, a fourth rounder, and a Kubalik rental, and a career AHLer, for DeBrincat. This is even more of an Yzerfleece now.
FragmentEx
Wish the best for him, but I don’t want him in a winged wheel anymore.
CamouflageGoose
We need a two way grinder type player with a good scoring touch

How ironic would it be if we picked him up.

Kubalik wouldn’t even crack the lineup here now
