I don’t think it’s worth trying to find a 2C. After seeing the cost of Manahon and Lindholm. If Landy and Val come back we don’t need one in theory. The top 6 would be Mack, Rant, Drouin, Val, Lieky, and Landy. Why give up so much?

2 actual 1st round picks not recent first round prospects is crazy for any rental. I think a 2nd line with Val and Guentzel could really alleviate the pressure on a 2c but this is crazy

Not for a pure rental. If they had a pre negotiated extension that was a reasonable AAV, that would make it more palatable. But I still don’t see 2 firsts.

That won’t be enough, our firsts are basically 2nds and the market for Guentzel is very competitive. Also doesn’t make sense to get another winger
