The Red Wings will be stupid to pay Seider anything over $7M a season. He's been awful this year.
They lost to the hottest team in the league (and just had a historical run of win streaks). It is ok.

How many seasons do we hear that the Wings don't play a full 60 minutes? Same problem under Blashill. This is a coaching issue. When you have back to back rookie NHL coaches, this is what you get. A coach who is scared to discipline the team.

The SN commentators said it best last night. Something along the lines of “ Both teams are at different stages of rebuilding their organizations”. Edmonton is in their final stages with a more complete team. Detroit can make the playoffs but are just not ready to play in the Stanley Cup.
