Was VV injured as well as sick? Could be a more significant injury than originally reported

Seems like this is just insurance given our other insurance goalies (Kinkaid, Kallgren) have been absolute dogwater in the AHL

I’m not reading into it. Kinkaid is a UFA and playing with the Wolves, Kallgren is a UFA and has been bad, Brennan is in the ECHL and Schmid has been underwhelming since being sent to Utica. Poulter has been playing well and earned a contract to see if he can develop further

According to Novozinsky, Daws and Schmid are both on the ice. This could just mean Vitek is out for a while.
