  1. man I've fought the urge to comment this, but this is the third video and it makes me cringe everytime (i'm sorry) it's "chick-run", not "chich-run"

  2. Lego, if you haven't played today's Puckdoku, take a look. Canucks, Habs and Wings all together on the same puzzle.

  3. 1) Jacob Chychrun Trade -> We love him in Ottawa, but the reality is we have too many LHD and not enough RHD, AND we need to make some cap space for Pinto's salary in the off season. It would be sad to see him go, but for the right price it would probably be a good sacrifice to make.
    2) Pinto suspension -> Pinto is definitely a huge piece of the puzzle in Ottawa (even if only for his great faceoff % on a team that needs to have the puck to be successful), but also for his other skills on AND off the ice (he's a great persona for team chemistry). That being said, the win% is not just because of Pinto's return, there were major holes in the defensive structure for the team, and I'd say the majority of the win% can be attributed to resolutions in this area (aka: Jacques Martin).
    3) Did the NHL Screw Ottawa? -> I don't have much of an opinion here. The suspension Pinto got seems excessive, especially if you consider his actions were not with a hint of intent (just ignorance), however keeping gambling out of the game needs to be a top priority, so making it clear to everyone that ignorance will not be an excuse is fine by me.

  4. Hey jacka$$ Kucherov actually came at the same time pine as Gourde, and Point did from the same surgery and surgeon the respective 2 seasons . Comments like that make you look like a complete Canadians Schill. Sergachev is gone a minimum 4 months more closely. TB can't afford his cap hit next year.

  5. I dont think the Sens are trading Chych unless they get a top 4 RHD in return, which it doesn't sound like Tampa has one to spare

  6. Chychrun isn’t going anywhere unless Staois gets an overpayment. They don’t need to move him.

He or Chabot will be moved in the offseason however.

The NHL also didn’t screw over the Senators. Pinto and his actions screwed over the team. But it is a learning experience for everyone. Players now know the NHL isn’t going to mess around when it comes to gambling.

  7. Sens are a garbage organization run team and they’ll end up getting sold and relocated one day.

  8. Didnt tampa just move out their entire draft pool for someone i can remember their name last season? Wasnt it like a 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th round pick?

  9. as a sens fan i can assure u we are the best canadian team by far if we only stayed healthy, our depth at c let alone other positions isnt great and thats what always screws us over. i think we dont need to be sellers and staios sees that, besides kubalik brandstrom, hamonic and joseph we have nothing to worry about, i mean 5m comes of the books at the end of this year and if we get rid of these names thats another 9m added and sure sandersons 8m contract kicks in but we still have 5m in cap without it going up, so why would we stress. if the team stays healthy and we add a second line lw and a second line rd we'd smoke the division trust me. as for trading a ld sure we can i mean youre not playing any of those first line ld on the third but a really good offer has to come in and that why i say ottawa is definetly not screwed here.

say cap goes up 3m plus the 5m i would've freed us that enough to sign pinto a lw and and rd. and u can also get rid of forsberg if need be and put merilainen as a back up.

  10. he & fischer are really good friends ''bro's'' would like to see him with detroit. but not willing to empty the cupboards for him. im willing to bet a trade no one seen coming will happen. just like when he did the mantha for vrana trde.

  11. The only way the Sens will relocate will be to a new arena… BTW…how is the news on the new arena holding out???

I think a mini rebuild is in order on the bottom lines and possibly third pairing D as well as in net… The Sens are doing fine even without them for now…

I'll say the same thing as a Kings fan…but we also have to cut out an $8.5M cancer…

  12. Chyrhrun might be the most overrated player( not just defensemen) of all time. He’s a borderline 5-6 at very best.

  13. As a Sens fan: We'd be doing better with Pinto from the start of the season, but we'd still not be in a playoff spot. The change in coaching from DJ Smith to Martin is also a HUGE factor, and if we'd had Pinto from the start but also DJ coaching, we'd still be on the outside looking in at this point. Having Pinto from the beginning would probably have gotten us a few more wins since it would have helped out forward depth so much, but not enough that we'd be in a WC spot right now.

  14. Sens got screwed. NHL is in bed with major betting companies and they got upset at Pinto, so NHL had to react. Who cares about dangerous cross checks to the head….41 games for pinto and 5 for Reilly
