Maaaan 2019 was such a great time. Before COVID set in, and before I had to watch fucking Tampa in the playoffs every single god damn year. Blue jackets sweeping Tampa was amazing and it’s a shame Tampas two cups erased those memories

  2. Really glad Johnny did that, shows what kind of player he is on and off the ice, but I love this style of NHL news, and you're my go to for everything hockey love you man, keep it up!

  3. We need more players that want to give back like Laine and Gaudreau. Okay… but what is happening in LA right now…?

  4. Even though I can't see it happening, but Kate Madigan for the Blue Jackets would be super interesting

  5. Kind of feel bad for Jarmo. Sucks how every great player they had didn’t want to come back. Feels like he was never able to keep players to make a good team. Maybe I’m crazy, but just kind of feels he got dealt bad hand after bad hand.

  6. Mr J-Hawk. Do you ever think of Johnny Goodreux when watching Johnny tsunami? because this Johnny does.

  7. I think the Blue Jackets just swept the Lightning cause I don’t believe the lightning won a single game in that series

  8. I can see Bedard out of the league in 3-5 years because of concussions/injuries…. only because the NHL doesn't care about the young superstars or any young player for that fact.
In the short time he's been in the league, already about 4 close calls.
If you think I'm full of it, then why did the Oilers get a bum like Lucic?

  9. Two problems with the Johnny G thing: 1. Dude doesn't sore goals anymore (barely ever did anyway), so no money is getting raised by him! 2. He totally screwed over the Flames with his 'I'm not going anywhere' BS, so screw him right back!

  10. I was honestly kinda happy with the break from the Bedard hype train. No shade to Bedard but it was getting annoying. Good on him to make the comeback though, let's see how he will perform

  11. Kekalainen kinda had it coming he has not been good in the slightest and is at this point bottom 3 in gm's. Graviteh is one guy that if you ask him this is the greatest move in franchise history. the other 2 that were active GM's this year in that bottom 3 is Ken Holland and Pierredorion

  12. I love how something meant to hurt someone ended up turning out to be alot of publicity and support on a really great cause. Those guys saying something incredibly wrong is going to help alot of people out in the end. Full support to Patrick Laine and Johnny Hockey on turning that frown upside down what a totally positive backfire on those bad name to “hockey fans” podcast, what a bunch of idiots, you give a bad name to no one but yourselves.

  13. I would not be surprised if Gaudreau pulls a Mike Comrie or Ryan Smyth and do at least one more season in Calgary before he retired. Just gives off that kind of vibe.
