Unfortunately Canada won't let that happen.
As things stand Faber seems like he should be the Calder favorite but we'll see how the voting goes. I agree with Montreal being the scariest PWHL matchup but not just because of their record but that they seem to be winning games by playing the other teams game (the shutdown defensive teams, outscore offensive teams, match New York and Minnesota in physical play) so they look like they excel at everything.
Hall of Faber should be a serious contender, but Uncle Gary needs Bedard to win it, so…
You hype Brock Faber like he has been a superstar. His Corsi and relative Corsi are mediocre to poor, and 8 takes and 24 gives are awful. If Faber wasn't a Minnesota kid that captained the team at the University of Minnesota, you'd be asking more questions.
The Wild are not at .500. They are at 24 wins and 28 losses in 52 games. If you are at a game, and the Wild lose in over time, does that count as no game played? No – they lost.
What is really frustrating is watching the PWHL Minnesota players make line changes while the other team is making a rush. I've seen 4 on 2 and 3 on 1 plays against them because they are awful at changing lines. Lack of puck control and bad line changes will kill this team.
Wonderful episode ladies. I think the wild go 2-1 next 3 games. Jessi you have me doing the Kirsten look with your picks. BROCK FABER FOR CALDER!!
Yes, Brock Faber is expressive. It is hard to figure out what he was reacting to in the first 10 seconds of his interview after the Penguins game. https://youtu.be/Y5hnv8FR6pw
i will vote however you want
