First game I went to was Thanksgiving Eve in 09 against the Habs. Sid opened the scoring with a slapper from just inside the blue line and I will always be so grateful that he scored the first one I saw live. Starting to creep up there with le magnifique and Clemente in terms of Pittsburgh legends with what he continues to do.

It’s weird to think he’s 37(36 and 6 months)years old. On one hand I’d love to see him play into his 40’s, but as a 41 year old myself, I also think the years are gonna go quick and he might want a Sid the Kid kid, so quit hopping on planes every week and spending winter in Pittsburgh. There’s gotta be places he wants to spend his time and well earned money, but I guess being rich and in shape from 45+ aint bad anyway.

It will be really interesting to see how long he plays. He’s made the odd comment that he *doesn’t* see himself playing into his 40s. I hope he does, as I suspect it will take father time a long, long time to win its battle against him.

He’s got one more run in him. It’s not this year, and maybe not next. But I really don’t think he’s done chasing the Cup.

Crosby is the Man. Bring a Pens fan since the late 80s him and Geno brought another Dynasty to Pittsburgh and gave us many many beautiful moments
