  1. See, if you do it unintentionally you get a fine instead of a 5 game suspension.

Someone link a GoFundMe for Hogs.

Funny to see that in 5 minutes the replies and quotes are already infested with Leafs fans trying to compare this to what Morgan Rielly did when they didn’t even watch the game

  3. Jeez Canucks are still getting penalized after the game.

Detroit must be the cleanest team in the league.

I can eat that for Högs. Dudes been an absolute gamer since he got the top 6 bump, finally showing off his hands and sense.

  5. How much will Petry get for smashing Hog in the face with his stick, drawing blood?

Does this seem to come out of nowhere? It was such a non-issue last night you need to watch the Zadorov-doing-the-griddy highlight to see a replay.

The reffing was brutal last night.

  8. Twinbladey

Reffing’s been consistently brutal for Canucks games recently. Oh well, it was always gonna be us vs the whole league and its officials en route to the Stanley Cup. Honestly the way the team is shaping up, this could be the team to break through.

That fine is like a month’s rent in Vancouver. 💸

Can’t wait until this shit show reffing is even worse in the playoffs.

This isn’t a Canucks thing either. League wide it’s been so atrocious.

So is high sticking now always fined or only if the refs miss it? Do you have to go over and like admit it to the refs now?

  12. PetterssonsNeck

I bet he griddied in celebration when he received the fine

I seen this coming. That whip around was accidentally on purpose.

To be fair thats a fair call but also i wanted it to go unnoticed 😂

Petey got him with one earlier i think neither were intentional but both were satisfying

I somehow missed this does anyone have video

What’s the point of these fines. It is equivalent to addinga toonie to a swear jar for us peasants.

  17. plam92117

$2.8k? No problem. That’s like paying off a parking ticket for him.

  18. ajbolt7

Hog got tossed from a Sharks game late in November, did he get fined for that?

Is this his 2nd offence this season?
