Dowd, Travis, Carrick and Tanev would be awesome and a dream come true to have plus Jake the snake as a back up or not, seeing those players in a Oiler uniform can potentially unlock a Stanley Cup parade downtown Edmonton
Oilers was undisciplined. But seeing McDavid got super frustrated, you just knew how bs the refs did with all the calls, not even close to be fair.
Oilers took 11 minor penalties the past 2 games while drawing only 3 against the opposition. Wonder if the refs are trying to keep the Oil's power play from setting foot on the ice because of how lethal it is.

Unfortunately none of the high end players are not available except for Eberle. Their play since the All Star break has been terrible with way too many bad periods played. It looks just like the start of the year. Just look at the GAA, the amount of penalties and close games. It’s all disappeared. Scary.

Some of these speculations are generated by certain "reporters" who only want to sell a story and their common claim is that "they have insider information" which they never reveal. So, do they actually possess this info or are they making it all up to sell their story? Besides, I do not know of any GM who would be so stupid as to reveal any secretive strategy to any reporter unless they were to do so as a deliberate distraction from the actual truth.
