I heard some talking about Slofkosky as not working out, whoever is saying that thinks that hockey players are measured equally, each one, regardless of draft # will develop on different times, some won't be in the league, some 20/30th pick might end up 50 goal scorer, these guys are young, it's early his particular case, I played hockey my whole life and watched NHL for over 60 years, I'll take him on my team
It's great seeing Protas in front of the net on the Capitals' first goal and Capitals' last goal. With his size, he's got to get to the net and cause problems like he did on both of those goals.

officiating was awful. TERRIBLE! i don't believe in some secret conspiracy to help certain teams, but every penalty against the caps in this game was either phantom or suspect.

Glad I am not the one to notice awful officiating. At least two errors resulted in Montreal scores. Laughable 😮 Are NHL refs ever held accountable for their numerous errors? Is there a ref ranking or something similar? Is there any incentive for refs to do their job well?
