Kid is already filled out for his age. Doesn’t look like a frail beanstring like almost kids. He’s going to be a monster.
Apparently, later in Bob Probert’s career, young guys would say to him something along the lines of « Bob, it’d be an honor for you to be my first fight in the NHL » and Probert would oblige. I have a feeling that’s kinda what happened today. As weird as it sounds, kinda classy for Martin to throw with a young kid like that.
