At least it aint 9-3 against the Sabres

  2. Ikea_desklamp

If we get blown out by Colorado I’m going to start worrying. My Canucks senses are tingling…

  3. PatchesTheGreat1

Far from the biggest issue this game but man, this team misses Soucy as a calming presence when he’s out

  4. ziggazang

Most exciting game in Minnesota history not even just hockey

  5. kidcanada0

Wow. Game was blacked out for me but I was watching the score. Phone died at 5-2 so I plugged it in and came back just now to 10-7.

  6. gargantuaea

Of course this happens when I bet NHL, fucked my good looking lay 😫😫

  7. Stinky_Toes12

Didnt know they let stevie wonder ref ffs

  8. philips50

I didn’t see the game. Did one of their players beat the shit out of one of our players and then we spent the rest of the game forgetting our roster is small and unsuccessfully trying to hurt their players and then they easily outplayed us?

  9. julesieee

I hope Garly’s knee/leg is ok. I know he came back in the 3rd period but at that point we’ve already lost the game. He is so integral to the team that we literally fell apart after he went into the tunnels.

  10. DanMurphysNumber1Fan

I didn’t know we played today what the fuck happened???

  11. Flintydeadeye

I’m fine with all the PDO regression happening in one game.

Calm down. The team knows they screwed up. They’ll deal with it. I think they’ve earned a little bit of leeway. Back off the ledge people.

I will say that Tocchet should have used his timeout when the Canucks went down by 2. I thought maybe at 1 down, but at 2 down I was yelling for a timeout and then we were 3 down.

We need this time to figure out our top line identities. Injuries also don’t help, but now’s the time to figure it out. I’d rather we face adversity and work these things out now than in the playoffs.

  12. King-Cossack

I’ve been away from a tv all morning. What happened??

  13. Royal_Entrepreneur87

What in the…. I just turned on the game as it was ending and had to take like 5 blinks to know i wasn’t dreaming

  14. Zenzio1995

I’m going to try and stay positive. I’d rather go through these growing pains now rather than close to or during the playoffs. Experiment and try out certain things now and fix up any glaring problems before April. Happy Millsy got a hat trick too 😊

  15. shadownet97

It definitely feels shitty to be on the other side of a 10-goal game.

Now I know how the Sharks felt in November.

  16. eexxiitt

Wow I never realized how many first time sports fans were in this sub. Relax. Sometimes it rains, and other times it pours. Happens to all teams.

  17. TrustMeNothingBad

I woke up to check the time (it’s 6:43 am now) and was greeted with a notification we were fucked (without lube) in the third period. I only slept for a couple of hours and now I can’t go back to sleep. What the fuck is going on.

  18. Sweaty-Salad95

The team shot themselves in the foot. Plain and simple. When you give up four 5 on 3’s, and let them score on the pp, you deserve to lose.

I’d also say this was Tocchet’s worst game behind the bench this season. I don’t care if it’s a back to back you can’t hang DeSmith out to dry. The team was clearly rattled. Also, I thought it was completely stupid to pull Desmith out the second time with 1 minute left down 9-7. Just gift them the 10th goal why don’t you?

Then again, I’m just some nobody on the internet. What do I know? He’s coahed this team to 1st place thus far…

I want to see them destroy Colorado tomorrow. Show some emotion, play angry, and determined. That was embarrassing, they gotta show up tomorrow.

    /end rant

  19. NotSoJDMGC4

We don’t wanna be 1st in the league anyways.

  20. CoedNakedHockey

Fuck the presidents trophy anyway, I don’t want that shit

  21. fanbullshitdetector

That was like a game of Mario Kart.

Canucks way out in front and computer giving the Wild non-stop blue shells.

  22. UraSnotball_

Anyone got a video of the Pettersson hook?

  23. CurveAdministrative3

meanwhile my kids U11 hockey coach would lose his mind if a bunch of 9 and 10 year old give up 2 goals. lol

  24. Chadwick_Strongpants

Solid 5-3 win boys, glad we closed it out and stopped the slide at 1 game. 🎇VICTORY BEERS!🎇

  25. this_miss_

I need therapy (for one more reason).

  26. infinitez_

Holy shit. I got busy and didn’t watch after Miller’s hatty but what the fuck happened? Social media tells me it was a reffing and defensive disaster.

  27. sudbury78

Tomorrow will be the best performance of the season. Book it. If not then I’ll start the panic button.

  28. cbcguy84

I’m in Asia right now, just woke up, wtf happened?

  29. Tiger23sun

A good reminder to NEVER EVER… call out the refs.. (until the playoffs)

It doesn’t matter if they’re wrong.

They’ll make you pay… and then pay again.

  30. vaneeus

The longer I watch the NHL the more I’m convinced these new, softer rules aren’t in place to « protect the players, » but control the outcome of any given game. Never been the tin foil hat type, but the reffing is so bad it’s bordering on blatant favoritism. And not just the Nucks, but all games. Feeling more like soccer every week. Sad 🙁

  31. Miserable_Manner_980

Oilers and Flames are winning….not good for us.

  32. RytheGuy97

I didn’t watch the game – what the fuck happened?

  33. show me a team that has won the cup and also allowed 10 in a game in the regular season

    legitimately curious

  34. ajbolt7

Needed just one save from DeSmith there, 8 goals on 24 shots ain’t it no matter how you look at it. We scored 7, if we got 1 save this could’ve gone completely different in the outcome

  35. Well that was certainly of the games of all time

  36. Postisto

Whoever says refs fucked us is delusional. Brutal penalties. Brutal defense on Wild’s goals 6,7 and 8. Fanboys can fuck right off. It was a shitty game management. Call it like you see it.

  37. ForceEconomy9988

Man wtf did I just watch…still pretty impressive after that gong show of a game we were still in it in the last cpl minutes, the game was really 8-7 if not for the empty netters. Some bad luck on some of the goals like Rossi’s redirection off skate and Boldy’s centering pass going right to Kaprizov

  38. jigatt21

Too much panic from fans right now. Everyone needs to go enjoy family day with family right now. Maybe have a shot of whisky or take a drag. If we get embarrassed tomorrow I’m for sure pressing the panic button!

  39. twiddlybits1978

Relax friends, we only lost by 3 goals an
d 2 of them were empty nets……. personally the team and coaching staff have earned my trust this season, and it’ll take more than a bonkers one-off game like this to lose my confidence in them.

  40. National-Change-8004

I had thought the Canucks weren’t quite ready to go all the way this year. My only question is: will the slump continue? Or will they find that extra gumption?

  41. overthisbynow

Yikes just woke up to that score…gonna have to see how the Colorado game goes before losing hope but at least Tocchet got to experience real Canucks hockey…

  42. AccomplishedAd4995

lmao miller in his postgame interview trying really hard to not call out the poor reffing

  43. Ecstatic-Syllabub595

Unpopular opinion: Casey desmith should get more ice time, not less.
