  1. Sabres’s broadcast team was way more into that goal. They were still talking it up during the scrum right after the next faceoff.

  2. He scored a great goal, but he has a poor start. 1G,1A, 4 Shots, 3 hits and 2 blk in 5 games with an average of 12:30 ice time. I hope this.goal will.give him .confidence cause he could do more.

  3. He's my next door neighbor in Whitehorse and this whole city just started rocking Sabre jerseys

  4. Great goal! Looks like more of a wrist shot. I always thought a snapshot is where you bring your stick back no higher than knee level and come through snapping your wrist as you make contact with the puck?

  5. credit to to the washington commentary for playing it down the middle. always liked those guys.

  6. Sabres need forwards that 1) make those around them better, and 2) guys that score in different ways. Victor Olofsson was a top prospect last year, but in two seasons has been mostly a one trick pony, but came on a little under Granato. I am hoping the Jack Quinn pick was a more calculating than it was rookie, understaffed mgmt; he was described as a guy that scored in different ways. And how about Cozens dropping the gloves & saying he wanted to be a leader? And Mittelstadt looking like Tim Connolly? Future looks pretty good. Takes 3 years to see most of the prospects from a draft, so we are just now gaging how Botterill was at drafting. Better than Murray, but Sabres still losing some trades, which they can’t afford to be bad at.
