Miller stays underrated. He’s better than Petey this year
Obvious homer here but I’d have Miller at 7 and Petey at 8-9.

Right where they want to be, so were not putting all our eggs into 4 players and having a dumpster fire of a team everywhere else.

Always better to fly a bit under the radar.

This makes no sense wasn’t he number 8 on their list for best players

What’s more impressive is seeing 36 year old Crosby still in the top 5 besting guys in their 20s. He truly is a a winner.

Let other teams underestimate them at their peril.

From the article:
“Here’s how it worked: Surveys were conducted over the past month. Respondents were asked to rank their current top 10 players at center, winger, defenseman and goaltender based on a predetermined list of the top 30-40 players at each position. Players ranked on each ballot were given a numerical score — No. 1 earned 10 points, No. 2 got 9 points and so on.”
It’s a simple ranking from the anonymous players and executives. So they are ranking the players entire body of work, not just this season.
It’s an interesting survey because its from the actual stakeholders…the players and executives.
What’s interesting is one eastern conference executive ranked Petey at #5. I wonder which executive that is.

Timing might be effecting this. Back in January when Pettersson had 4 game winning goals in a row and getting nine points in 5 games he might have gone higher. And watch out for Miller. Last two games he’s been playing like a possessed beast. Four goals and an assist in the last two losses. I hope we see this from Miller going on this run and into the playoffs—if so he would make the top ten

But this sub keeps telling me he is bad…
He should be ahead of Point and Eichel
