  1. I like Fetts – I hope they don't give up on him. Keep him on the top 6 and try new combos. He's an elite playmaker. I agree with Murat's comment about Ehlers with Fetts, there's something missing there. Ehlers is to quick ? IDK

  2. Connor has NEVER been good defensively and he made Myers look like Connor Bedard on his goal…..

  3. Jets defensive play has been erratic and consistency is the key for elite teams to go deep in the playoffs. Connor disappointed in the playoffs last season and he wasn't scoring plus his defenders play is pathetic. Helley isn't always going to bail you out and that game in Calgary where he let in 6 was alarming

  4. The Canucks game was one of the best games the Jets played this season and immediate followed by a stinker of a game where they blow a 3-1 lead? That is worrisome in itself and begs the question regarding the Jets inconsistency.

  5. Ehlers was really really good with Mark and Valardi? Bones mixed that up and ruined it? Put Ehlers back cuz Perfetti does play okay with Conner stupid problem to easily fix? Why is Ehlers always the whipping boy with the clowns coaching?

  6. From what I see, I don't think perfetti can skate fast enough to keep up the play. I think he's the issue on the 2nd line

  7. if Perfetti can't keep up then I'm afraid he gets the left seat in the press box, with mandatory power skating lessons in his future. The glaring defensive gaffs by Conner in Vancouver and Scheifele in Calgary, ( standing beside Kylington and making no attempt defensively when the seas parted for his goal ). Bones better get a handle on this kinda play and hand out ice time accordingly, the double standard is what splits a team up. What makes Ehlers an exciting player to watch is the same thing that makes him almost impossible to play with, maybe a shock collar is in order but he needs to start playing with his line mates and ditch the solo act. Nice work Guys

  8. Everybody loves KFC, but he needs a bloody wakeup. Terrible effort waiting for the puck to come to him, and then he actually gave up. You would hope the room steps up and deals with that, totally unacceptable effort. I was at that game, I turned and asked – is Ehlers even playing? He was invisible for half of his shifts

  9. Names to the wing on 2nd, or Vilardi, Scheif and Ehlers together who were so dominant. I get that Connor brings more goals, but why wouldnt he be able to do that on second line. I think we need to see how it does with Connor on it. Its not like Connor is in great form or anything

  10. That incredible stretch of hockey from about mid November to the new year showed what this team is capable of, going back to average now is unacceptable. KC shares much of the blame as the change in the Jets since he came back from injury has been very noticeable

  11. Ehlers and Perfetti aren’t the only 2 guys not scoring…I believe Connor’s has one goal since he got back from his injury and one was an empty netter…Connor suppose to be our big scorer and doesn’t seem to be held to account…

  12. Perfetti can't catch top end guys who strip him of the puck so put him on the 4th line with Vlad and Kupari, (who also do well in the corners), so he can set them up with his skills. Barron needs to go second line to beef up defense, and to muscle that puck into the dirty areas (which he's great at). Barron and Lowry are our beasts up front; use them! Perfetti could shine on the 4th line by playing his smarts against other 4th liners, and Ehlers could shine with Barron making way while keeping up pace. Hopefully Kyle Connor can get to playing angry soon!

  13. Iafallo was producing when was on 2nd/1st line he has dropped off and now is a 4.4m dollar player on 4th line.
Could he be part of trade cap reasons if not Pionk/Schmidt.

  14. there's not alot to analyze, Chevy & Bones need to make a decision on what the 2nd line needs to look like and stick to it!!!
In the life of 2.0 Jet hockey we've never had a solid second line its been an experiment from day one, for a time when we had Laine & Ehlers together there was potential if Chevy could of found a centre that wasn't a rental but we all know how that ended and its been turmoil ever since!!!
I'd be really happy if Perfetti was sent to the Moose and Lambert was brought up for a look w Ehlers & Monahan, the speed on the wings could make that line deadly!!!

  15. Sorry, but this is a huge swing and a miss. I think highly of Murat but this is clickbait nonsense.

  16. Maybe they need to change players from the 3rd line to the 2nd line . Or at the trade deadline get a scoring winger .

  17. Ehlers is not happy to be on the second line. You can see it in his body language because he did everything right, and then got demoted. The decision to let Kyle 'have the benifit of the doubt' after injury (even though he has been terrible) shows that double standard. There is actually no way that Kyle is playing to the level that he deserves to be on the top line, he is given a gimme to play terrible, and get rewarded.. and actually their whole team, starting with Bowness, is becoming a joke because of it.

  18. Prior to the all star break, the guys were doing more, defensively. If they lost the puck, they would do something about it – but lately, not as much – hope they get back to it.
