Look I have no idea how the rest of his contract is gonna go, but in a vacuum I love Reavo on this team. Play for the crest on the front and not the name on the back.

Honestly, I didn’t think much of this incident in terms of it rallying the Leafs but hearing in the dressing room the way they see it, proves me wrong.
I’m glad they see it as a star player on the Leafs who wasn’t sticking up for a teammate nor himself (it’s not like it was a hit that sparked this), but rather sticking up because someone did something disrespectful to the Maple Leafs and not caring and going right after him, maybe that’s what they needed.

If you told me 10 years ago that I’d be a fan of Reavo I’d never have believed you. Now though? I’m a fan. He’s far from perfect but lately the guy has been playing better hockey than I expected he would, and he fits in with the grit we have been seeing. It’s much like Kiermaier on the Jays. Never thought I’d cheer for that guy but it turns out he’s very likable.
