The devils just need to change the coach. The fans at the Rock were not 70% rangers fans, I was there. It was more like 70/30 devil fans. Ranger fans are always front runners and come out when they think they are going to win. The team just needs a new coach. i’m a flyers fan and i remember the time rangers fans invaded the wells fargo center. that’s immediately what i thought of when i saw the invasion of rangers fans in new jersey. you can’t let fans invade your home barn, so that being said you could blame some of this on the fans for not being there to support their team.
Devils season ticket holder here, we sell the Rangers games partially because they go for 2-3 times more than other tickets but also BECAUSE there are so many Rangers fans and because with some exceptions they are just the worst people. But you're absolutely right about Ruff and the organization. I'm embarrassed. I sold my tickets for both matinees this weekend. Maybe I'll go again when Ruff is gone.

They stupidly built this team thinking they were just gonna be able to outscore every team. Horrible defense, horrible goaltending. When the offense doesn’t produce on a team like this you are so unbelievably screwed. I was flabbergasted when people were picking this team to win the cup at the start of the season.

As a devils fan I've not enjoyed Ruff since year 1 of his tenure as coach here. I honestly believe Brunette carried us last year and we were foolish to not fire Lindy and give Brunette the job as head coach

To answer the question at the end of the vid, there are so many problem areas with this team and since you can't fix everything at once I think it's clear to start with shipping Ruff and bringing in a new coach. If this doesn't happen then more fingers need to be pointed at GM Fitzgerald.

i feel like the lockerroom atmosphere must not be very good, if your coach or management or whoever higher up is refusing to take accountability, the players dont really stand a chance at improving. you need higher ups and management that can face criticism as well, not just the players.
