  1. TNSE needs to go back to the old days and open up the doors during the intermissions, so what people go get cheaper beer nearby, live with it, also it would not hurt to have a $1 hotdog or pizza slice night.

  2. You know what really sucks is the NHL will move the Jets before the Coyotes… Winnipeg get your shit together!!!!!

  3. It’s an organization issue. They burnt their bridges with their STH and they burnt though their wait list, which by the way was over 17000 at one point on the wait list . improve relations, target corporate sponsors and improve in game experience. That’s it.

  4. Even if you get a cheap ticker+parking+food/drink it adds up and if you bring a wife or kids it's very expensive.
I know politically people won't like to say Trudeau has made things hard for canadians.
Inflation,utilities,food,gas,housing/rent,cars+ maybe people making alot of money have disposable income but most rather spend the money on their kids,schooling,house/down payment other priorities. Exspecially if they wernt ever given life insurance or left stuff by family they have to go work alot to make things possible.
I don't think it means we don't support team and maybe it's sad to say we have alot of different groups of people supporting Bombers, seabears, soccer and we can't jets? In Jets view we also have a AHL team so we can't make tickets super cheap. Sadly i think if we lose team we won't ever get it back and if wpg can't support a team people need to give up on idea Quebec, saskatoon,Halifax could.

Even when fans bring up Thompson he just fronted the money. People don't like to lose money. And Chipman couldn't afford it on his own. If fans decline Airizona=Utah and sadly I could see jets being moved Houston/Kansas.

Or what would be a good video is go places regular people are and interview example 100+ people and ask what's their opinion on Jets relocation,or if they have even attended a moose game? What hurdles in life.

  5. I have been saying it for years.
Why was Big Buff the most popular player? Because Winnipeg identified with him. He was the underdog who took over the league!
The whole team needs to reflect this. Adam lowry as captain is the right move, but it needs to continue in this direction!
More hits More fights. Win or lose, entertain us!

  6. To quote Tyson, " everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth" – Jets Fans have decided to punch True North in the mouth, now Chipman has to figure out why that happened .

  7. People are tapped out as a result of the Trudeau-liberal-induced inflation, and when something has to give, well, it tends to be recreational spending, because we all need a place to live and food to eat so those things usually come first.

  8. Bottom line: TNSE had it made when they got the team in 2011. 13K season tix sold in 4 mins with a 17K waitlist. TNSE mismanaged most of it, and now Chipman wants to run to the Toronto media & Bettman to browbeat the local fans into taking the blame for his mistakes.

Be a man, Chipman. Admit to local fans at a local press conference that you were arrogant & shat the bed. Some humility is really all that's required. Once people see that they'll re-engage.

  9. Are you kidding me? Compared to what is going on in Arizona with that franchise, what's happening in Winnipeg is not as bad.

  10. Since Christmas they’ve average over 14000 in attendance. Only 900 short of a sell out. I’m confused why this is an issue now that things seam to be turning around? It sounds like they just want to get more season tickets holders but the walkup crowd is making up the difference. I was at the last San Jose game and I could barely tell there was any empty seats.

  11. Why does Betman and the NHL bend over backwards for the beloved Arizona Coyotes? And feel a need for a heart to heart with True North?

  12. Problems as soon as tsn left Winnipeg when Jets were front in center. Maybe cjob paid more for the rights but there not a great sports station when it comes to hockey. I believe they do a good job on the bombers. Not living in Winnipeg I only buy merchandise to support them. Hopefully government don't tax the players out of Canada all teams here should be worried about losing there teams due to tax changes

  13. Well where are all the businesses they will have to step up just like the NFL Greenway packers did years ago or send them to Saskatoon.

  14. I want to go to a hockey game, not 15 minutes of pandering before puck drops all the time. I want hockey not political statements and butt kissing!

  15. You're going to lose your team again. The writings on the wall but you want to live in denial and argue about it. Unless of course people sacrifice eating and keeping a roof over their heads to watch hockey. I hope I'm wrong. I love the Jet's and wish success for the whole town. What you fail to understand is that it is not up to the fans to accommodate the owners financial needs, it's up to the owner to adapt to what finance he actually has access to in the economy that actually exists. This is just business and greed on full display is all.
Just do a little research into the owners and this may open your eyes a bit as to who you are actually dealing with.

  16. The Blue Bombers seem to have no issue? Also i went to a canucks game in November i am from BC. $125 for upper bowl 10 rows down from the very back. Just took a glance at the Jets tickets. $130 for lower bowl was the cheapest. That would be a dream lol.

  17. Honest question, and I want an answer.
If the Jets make the Stanley Cup Finals what will the cost of a lower bowl ticket be?

And what will the attendance look like?

  18. Trudeau and his carbon tax has emptied everyone’s pockets. He could probably sell the team tomorrow for a billion dollars to the guy from Utah.
