@Canucks de Vancouver

[Kingerski] FWIW, le directeur du personnel des joueurs des Canucks de Vancouver est ici aujourd’hui au match Penguins vs Flyers. (Elliotte Friedman a lié Vancouver à Jake Guentzel hier.)

I cant think of what we can do to make it work to bring Guentzel here

  2. Twinbladey

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but the director of player personnel doing this is a semi-big deal, no?

  3. joetothejack

This is for Walker on Philly, not for Guentzel imo.

  4. Ecstatic-Buy-2907

What would the move look like? I’d assume it would be Mikheyev, a 1st and a prospect. I don’t think giving up Hoglander would be smart

At the end of the day, I don’t think it’s best to put all our eggs in one basket

  5. kshanks1919

Maybe just maybe he’s there scouting the team because they play each other in 2 days?

  6. canucklehead200

Lindholm and a 2nd for Guentzel?

  7. PaperweightCoaster

As long as it’s not the Ristolainen plot twist, I can settle for Crosby.

  8. captain_poptart

Is Jake even playing? I thought he was hurt

Edit – Jake is on IR right now

  9. PetterssonCDR

If mgmt wants to move prospects to go for a cup im for it. Prospects won’t help at this point and we see what a r1 draft pick or player brings us with jt

Looks like Myers will have to go on LTIR for that neck injury we all saw right?

  11. Are we the Vancouver Penguins soon or what?

If this isn’t Guentzel, I will fully admit I know nothing about Walker’s type of game. Who is he comparable to?

Guentzel is hurt, so I don’t think they were there for him as he’s not playing now. Pens are also in town in 2 days, I think they were there to watch the Flyers.

Our scouts have been a bit all over the map, but it usually doesn’t mean much unless there’s someone higher up in the org there.

AGM Ryan Johnson was scouting Bruins for a few games, now it’s the director of players personnel looking at Pens/Flyers. It’s definitely a sign Allvin is considering a few moves still

If Pettersson doesn’t want to be here, you trade him for Crosby and you figure out additional pieces around that.

Pittsburgh instantly replaces their 1C with a guy more than a decade younger, Pettersson gets to play somewhere hockey means something but he’ll be more left alone, Crosby gets to play in Canada and play for a contender in his last few years, and the Canucks get the best possible Pettersson replacement available.

    Lindholm Crosby Hoglander

    Boeser Miller Mikheyev

Obviously they’d only have a few years of good Crosby left, but the window is now anyways. Miller is in his 30s already anyways, and we have no idea how long he’ll produce at this level. Maybe it blows up in our face, maybe it brings us a cup. Who knows. LFG

Mikheyev + Klimovich + Woo + Truscott + 1st 2025 (top 5 protected) for an injured, unhappy, pending UFA Guentzel. 😏😌

  16. keefstrong

How do you scout a guy who’s not playing and hurt?

  17. Rude-Adhesiveness575

or scouting the Pens for Tuesday’s tilt. We need the two points.

  18. krashbic

Edmonton or another team would outbid us for Guentzel

  19. YouCanFucough

I really don’t wanna give up another first rounder, but fuck would we be stacked if we got Guentzel on this team somehow
