Just for the record: The Canes have gotten 12 power plays in the last seven games, which involved two games against Dallas and one against Florida (voted dirtiest team in the league).

The solution is for the NHL to implement an NFL-like mandate with regards to when you blow the whistle.
Let the play play out (like on football plays where it’s unclear if it was a fumble or the guy was down), THEN review it.
This is not difficult stuff and we really shouldn’t be in a situation where the league has to wait for something bad to happen to do something about it.
