  1. I also find it very odd on the release of the Shea Weber injuries and how he might never play again story
when he played the 3rd most minutes of any defenseman in this years playoffs.
It seems as though Bergevin is learning as he goes on they ways of an expansion draft, and good for
    him if it's all legal.

  2. I can't see them taking Price. I wouldn't. For an aging goalie who hasn't played great in the regular season for years now, with health issues for $10m x 5? Nope.

  3. Lol kraken be smokin crack to pick up that 10 mil hit… With mediocre numbers at best ,he's worth maybe 5-6 mil a year ( in Canada )

  4. On my opinion….
Defense is a team game and offense is more individualistic…
Surround a good team with some great offensive guys would be my choice.
    Allen is solid.

  5. If Price heads closer to home, I'm happy for him. Jake Allen is a solid goalie. More money to build up an offense. Varlamov went 7 games against Tampa. It's not by avoiding get scored on that the Habs are going to move forward. Important, Yes. But they need some firepower

  6. Je sais pas si ils vont le prendre… Mais quelle perte pour le Canadiens si c'était le cas…

  7. If they take him, the NHL won't have to come up with a rivalry for Seattle (although it'll likely be VAN). Habs fans don't forget, haha.

  9. Not certain about Pricey's medical status, but he could win some games for them, provide instant credibility and put some butts in the seats just from his name recognition. But the major thought I have is that by the time this team could compete for a Cup (I don't think they repeat the VGK early success) he would no longer be a relevant player to that effort while consuming 10% of their currently available cap space. I'd say that they pass on this.

  10. They're going to take him, the deal has already been done or we wouldn't be having this conversation.

  11. It’s obvious, 2 things.
1.) Montreal #1 BS with Price & Weber to circumvent Cap & Exp Draft.
2.) CP is not worth 11 mil per…..period.

    The Seattle CrackHeads are ONLY
looking for a “Sign & Trade” opportunity.
Nobody in their right mind wants an aged, 11mil per season goaltender.

  12. Bergevin playing chicken with Ron Francis is not the offseason I thought I was gonna get, but definitely the offseason I like the most, despite the stress

  13. Habs fans Price will be a Kraken next year he will be closer to home why do you think he moved his NMC cause he obviously wants to be closer to family and friends look it was a great run with him he took you to you guys to the Stanley Cup finals I just hope no hate towards him next year

  14. Because it's new era and because forwards and defensemen are getting better offensively and it's really not about goalies like it once was, I totally doubt Seattle will take him mainly because of the price tag..

  15. i dont think t hey take him if they are smart they take kahkonen vanacek and drieder

  16. I hope they take him. He is way overpaid and other than the playoffs where he did play well, he was average all year. I am happy if the keep Allen and spend the money on someone who can score.

  17. No Seattle won’t. He’s too expensive and too old. There are other cheaper and more younger options.

  18. Price is staying, Drouin is gone . that's why they protected armia, there's no reason to protect a free agent , unless your basically giving armia Drouin's contract when hes taken.

  19. $50 Million left on his contract – Montreal is praying Seattle takes him but it will never happen

  20. "You can't buy champagne with beer money". Weekes is spot on. On most nights in the NHL he is the best goaltender in the game. How can you turn that down in your first season?

  21. The fuzzy expansion proximately crawl because city optionally water anenst a brainy stepdaughter. bewildered, ambiguous cowbell

  22. LOL,LOL,LOL, NICE THE NHL PUTTING A TEAM IN THE BIGGEST RACIST CITY IN AMERICA. LOL,LOL,LOL, THIS ISN'T A TRAIN WRECK.
    LOL,LOL,LOL

  23. If they don't they are nuts. How often do teams get a chance at a player like that? Also highly convenient injury.
