Lots of things going sideways, no goals from McDavid he’s become an assist artist and the other teams just wait for the pass that makes it way to easy to defend against the power play. Foegele can score unexpectedly but can’t make a break out pass if his life depended on it, he’s good for at lease two turnovers per game trying to get the puck out. Skinner isn’t making saves time to bring up Campbell, it worked in TO after bringing back Samsonov.
Edmonton looses control of the puck, and you think they need a goalie. Have the oilers lost their edge or have they lost their discipline?

Several points…here I go. Knoblauch's fall from grace has already commenced. Even great back up goalies have great stretches doesn't mean they're a #1 goalie. Skinner is an outstanding back up goalie. The only reason why he's a starter with the Oilers is because we have no one else. Note to Skinner…that's not a compliment. Team is so out of sync even Albert Einstein can't figure this one out compared to January. Holloway will be nothing more than a journeyman player. He shows no signs of being a future star. If Taylor Hall was tradeable, Holloway and Skinner certainly are. Bring Hamblin back send Holloway down. Hamblin was a big defensive piece for us during the win streak. Knoblauch is misusing Perry. Every Oiler fan knew Knoblauch's decision making has been bizarre as of late and last night it just got even more bizarre. Pulling the goalie with over 7 minutes to play? Lol wow.. that's a new one. I thought Knoblauch and the team weren't in this for the records..lol that's got to be a new record. Knoblauch's ego refuses to listen to the fans. For weeks Draisaitl Foegele and McLeod were on fire. Knoblauch inexplicably refuses to put that line back together, even worse, refuses to go back to the exact same lines that accomplished a 16 game win streak. The Rangers now on a 10 game win streak, maybe the coach of the Rangers should take Knoblauch's advice and turn their team into a musical chair joke. The good news? The Oilers only need to go 500 to grab a wild card spot. Not a chance in hell will the Oilers finish in 2nd or 3rd with Knoblauch's decision making. To be honest I'm sick of seeing the Oil play the Kings or Vegas in round 1 and 2. I'm actually good with a wild card spot. The bar is pretty low if that's where they want to end up..in a wild card spot. At least the first round will be a little more refreshing. Canucks fans are laughing at Oiler fans thinking we could catch the Canucks. Ain't gonna happen. Not by a long shot. If Knoblauch doesn't even see or recognize how f'd up his decision making is as of late than weez in a whole lotta trouble. It's amazing how every Oiler coach turns to McDavid and Draisaitl to save their own poor decision making when the coaches game plan fails. Oiler fans can take comfort in the fact that Skinner and a few other players have shown their true colours (thanks to Knoblauch insisting to reinvent the wheel on a nightly basis) making it easier for Holland to zero in on trade pieces we need.

Ok all the haters have started back up and yes we are back on the lazy train………another new coach? lol I know Leon is a great player however is he as great as they make him sound? Solid no! He is so lazy at times, pissy but my god how many give always is he responsible for every game? He can be a great passer but when he gives 4 away and makes 2 awesome? I feel there are some influenced by this flu going around and are not the 100% they need to be throughout the lineup with the exception of 18,13, 55, 73. I think a few knowing they are on the chopping block for trade deadline has them squeezing the stick extra hard. As a lifelong oiler fan I’m not looking at playoffs yet, we need to be better than even the 16 game streak to be successful there.

Forwards: fail, Defense: fail, Goaltending: fail, Special teams: fail. The leader group isn't leading, and nobody is without blame here for the last six games. I could give an example of bad plays from literally every player on the team. You've got your work cut out for you Kris. Good luck in turning this mess around before playoff time.

Was a bad stretch of games. The wild game should have been a win but they didn't finish. They didn't show up for this one..flu may contribute but they need to wake up and bite down. Bad stretchs come and go. Hope the coaching and leaders can focus.

We need to be hungry for wins. Not do this wait and see game. Need to jump on top as soon as the puck drops. Got to be more displined. Defend the goalie. Less turn overs.
We can move past this and move on. We have LA to get past. Really don't want them to drop us behind them in the standings.
Seems like after the Allstars break something happened. It's not the same Oilers. And one last thought. Don't pull the goalie. Nothing good comes out of that. Not enough confidence in the players to pull of a win just yet.
Need new goalie, solid btm or top 6 defence bring back the same lines and boom, cup formula
This guy is a good coach. He isn’t buddies with any players, he’s an honest coach. I think he wanted to sit Draisaitl but also needed him to be on the power play to score.

It's an 82 game schedule all teams go through ups and downs in a season. This team is 2 good to slump again for 2 long. I agree though we need insurance in goal and more D man.
4 goals were direct results of turnovers. Im tired of hearing knobs be so calm. He needs to start harshing on these guys. Bench needs to be used. Healthy scratch, lets see something happen here.

Is a junior coach. The players are doing what they want. Forwards don't want to help the defense. Sign Connor Brown who is coach favorite. He has 0 goals. -10 Rating. Doesn't hit anyone and hurts everyone he plays with. The Oiler's will get knocked out first round of playoffs if they keep Brown.
What is the average age of the Oilers? Older players are more mature and have their man strength established and they make the game literally painful to play by extracting things from you every time they touch you until you do not want to touch them anymore…. the Oilers are not playing like a Mature Team yet,.
