  1. this is where Elliotte belongs, as an insider – good work and stay in your lane. I NEVER want to hear his take on what's happening on the ice. he has clearly never played ANY sport and I want to hear what Jen Botterill, (an ex player who just happens to be bright and articulate) or Kelly Hrudey or even Mr. Comic Relief himself Kevin Bieksa have to say. one non-ex player per panel sharing incoherent drivel is way more than enough.

  2. If Dallas gets Hanifin they would instantly improve their D. They may have to give up some top prospects and maybe Lindell. But with some older guys in their core, Hanifin would be a great piece to build around. Acquiring Hanifin makes them a serious Cup contender IMO.

  3. Quit beating a DEAD horse there gone as far as a fan based is concerned and for one sad about Hanny. Only question left what will our return be

  4. SIDNEY 36 he’s has maybe 2 to 3 years left if that ,he’s human he’s almost done I like CROSBY 😊

  5. Pittsburgh is on a retirement tour for all their ageing stars, until they are gone the team can't begin their rebuild. And with their awful talent pool, it'll be a long slow rebuild.

  6. You have to wonder if Sidney Crosby regrets signing that long-term team-friendly contract, given that the additional cap space hasn't been of any assistance to the team in recent years.

  7. So with term you have to retain on an otherwise normal rate for a elite goalie, but without term it's a high risk for a team to buy because the player may not resign…soooo which one is true. So much be about this market and how it plays out.

  8. Watching these guys talk about the trade deadline is like living 'Groundhog Day'. Remind me, there are more than 6 teams in the NHL looking to make trades, right??? Someone cue the Sony & Cher music…

  9. As a Detroit fan the deliciousness of knowing the Red Wings are more Stanley Cup relevant than the dying core of the Penguins is just the best..
