We need to go after some forward help that can deliver more goals who is also competent defensively and on the forecheck.

Nope the Canes do NOT need a goal scorer!!!!! They have goal scorers and they can score in the playoffs. When does the scoring stop???? When they meet a tougher team. They let Boston walk all over them twice with Zero push back, They let Tampa walk all over them with zero push back. They let the Rangers run their goalies constantly with ZERO push back and last year it was Fl tossing them around with ZERO push back. They went out and got that pest that they needed in Bunting and we are seeing his inner pest coming out more every game, They went out and got that hard hitting defenseman in Orlov who has been solid since the break and has ramped up his physical game, and they went out and got Lemieux who has already shown he will stick up for his teammates. I think Lemieux was picked up just for the playoffs. Plus to be honest the Canes have two guys being wasted in the AHL in Suzuki and Ponomarev. Suzuki plays better in the NHL (Pre-season) than he does in the AHL. He is much more dynamic than Drury and if he hadn't gotten injured he should have taken Drury's spot as he out performed him. You can carry more players on your roster in the playoffs. Without having a farm team those two should be called up to insert as needed if the team needs a spark.
If any moves are made it should be add toughness!!!!! The Canes need to stop being the Candy Canes in the playoffs!
I think we trade for Max Pacioretty. He had 3 goals in 5 games. Cost a third and a mid prospect.
In my opinion they should go all in. There roster has hardly changed since last season. In my opinion trade Raanta and hopefully get Andersen back like a couple games before playoffs. Trade some of the guys who do not have the greatest stats on the team since the top 10 players on the team for points are doing great and have been doing good even during the horrible start.
Carolina trade for scoring forward? Guentzel, Bucnevich, Laughton, Tarasenko, Vatrano?
could use backup goaltender? Allen from Montreal?
