  1. I’m quite confident that Conroy would have gotten a better offer if they waited till next week and even take Tanev out of the line up for a game or two to avoid injury…
Nonetheless knowing that the chances of the flames making a serious run is really low (especially now) I really hope to see Tanev raise that cup with that smile like no other that he showcases to the world…

  2. Thank you Chris Tanev. I remember you and Noah doing an awkward but fun YouTube upload on the Flames channel. Chris and Noah hit the sporting goods store!

I have seen NFL players triple their sack total when they are up for a new deal.

You two have always played amazing and I wish you continued success in Dallas and South Beach. Noah and Matt winning cups, getting tan and skating by income tax. You’ve both earned it and you’ll receive rousing cheers in Calgary (and one really loud guy standing next to a very embarrassed girl in Hanifin/Tkachuk jerseys whilst in Seattle (San Jose became too expensive…sequestered in Portland now).

HEY SUNRISE! LISTEN HERE YOU EXCESSIVE SPENDING DRAFT PICK DEFICIENT MORE LIKABLE OF THE FLORIDIAN FRANCHISES.

    DEMANDS:

Mackie Samoskevitch – no one wants to live in Charlotte. Calgary is the 4th most livable city in the world. Just do it.

NIKO Mikkala – YOU Want OUR best Defensemen AFTER taking our star of stars in Tkachuk!? We DO love the Weeger. However we need that good D to fill our void.

Mikkala? Miikka? KIPRUSOFF? Retiring his number this week. IT IS MEANT TO BE.

    Check yourselves.

    1) Charlotte Checker – Samoskevitch
    2) Mikkala
    3) Picks – DO YOU KNOW HOW GOOD NOAH IS? It’s like you are getting two people Noah’s Ark style. What!? Pickless? Save your allowance, geez.

    2025 & 2026 2nd round.

You KNOW he will sign long term with you and it’s only right for all reasons expressed above.

    Don’t f*ck around Coral Springs!

I gotta go – it’s the Tampa Leaf East Rutherford Bostonian Canuck Oil (dream on) onslaught trying to Madison Square a deal for Noah and Raleigh us with lucrative offers. They will be perfect calls. The best calls.

    ⏳ Hurry

  3. M'eh…Tanev has played in the NHL for 14 years and he averages just 55 games played per season, he's 34 and will probably only play a couple more seasons… so 110 games. I think Calgary's return is ok.

  4. Craig Button on Craig Conroy’s acquisition … not sold that this is going to be a balanced take. This is going to be some Craig on Craig love. I’m not sure I’ve heard Button criticize anything Conroy has done, ever. Like since trading for him in 2001.

  5. Button is correct. You want the player. Get the player. Conroy is quietly stocking up on young defencemen. I hope they get another in the Hanifin trade and draft 1 in the first round. That's how to build a team. from the backend. Oh, and when they do trade Hanifin someone from the Wranglers will need to join the Flames. This trade helped with immediate depth to ice both an AHL and NHL team!

  6. What's all the love for this dman Flames got??? Last I saw he was the 10th rated prospect in the Stars organization – chances of him being a regular NHL dman are slim. I hope he does play for the flames though – would love to watch McDavid skate around him again, and again, and again, and again lol

  7. Getting back a 2nd round pick and 2nd round prospect for an expiring contract is a win. They were never getting a 1st for a rental

  8. Anybody ever notice how EVERY trade that Craig Button analyzes is "great for both teams"?!!

All this guy ever does is blow sunshine up the rear ends of the GM's. It really wrecks his credibly when he is incapable of criticising ANY trade he reacts to.
