I used to play golf a couple of times a month at Elmira Golf and CC with Garrett when he was still in high school. He has a great sense of humor and is a pro golfer. He was a huge NCAA star golfer. Nice kid too!

Here we go again, NHL refs with quirky calls to distract us from the abysmal state of officiating in what is supposed to be the premier hockey league in the world.
I don’t want another Wes McCauley, I just want consistent fair calls in accordance with the written rules.
Out of the many sports that have officials my hat is tipped to those in the NHL. not only do they seem "down to earth" but they officiate one of the fastest toughest game there is. Most of the time they get the calls right. They use video review well when needed. They are literally in the action of the game. They get checked accidentally, take pucks, and skate the whole game. Keep up the good work refs! Keep them mic'd up. Thanks NHL
