Kane is a rental. I think the Sabres need another few years for a player his age to come in and net a few key goals and help them get in. This year they might have won another game or so, but I don't think they are sitting in a playoff spot if he came here.

Kane wouldn’t make a difference. The lack of production from #72, #24 & #89 has killed this season. Unload what you can at the deadline and start searching for a new coach.
