Les Maple Leafs ont acquis le défenseur Ilya Lyubushkin et les droits du choix non signé Kirill Slepets dans le cadre d’un échange à trois équipes avec les Ducks et les Hurricanes tard jeudi soir. Mark Masters rejoint SC avec Jay Onrait pour discuter de l’échange et partager où, selon lui, Lyubushkin s’intègre dans l’alignement de Toronto.

If Canucks‘ GM Allvin isn’t nervous about his own team’s blueline following a 5-1 loss to the LA Kings and multiple recent losses during which the Canucks have allowed at least three goals, he should be. Whether he will make another move before the trade deadline still remains TBD. Hopefully Lyubushkin will work out for the Leafs as much as at best I can only express cautious optimism. In part that is due to his existing contract set to expire in June, and no guarantee he’ll be back after that contract with the Leafs.

Why are leaf gms always trading picks? All successful playoff teams have great farm systems. Leafs never do hence they aways play with trades and the cap… will never work

A rough and tough right hand shot stay at home defenseman who is good on the penalty kill is just what the Leafs need more of. Dubas should have never gotten rid of this Russian.
