Habs played a good game but we were not playing to our potential. We have to do better than this in March. It’s a brutal month.
We def conserving our energy for the playoffs we just don’t hide it well. The problem. The two teams we’ve lost to since the all star break have been playoff teams. We need to take both or at least 1 against the next two opponents
Picked up a copy of the book to prepare for these 2 crazy games the Panthers have coming up.
Jeez the #1 and #2 teams in the entire league are now both in the Atlantic….
Atlantic and Metro divisions HAVE to be reworked. It's ridiculous how overcrowded the Atlantic is, while the Metro is only 1 consistently strong team. Sure they have the Canes that can be good, but it's not enough to hold down a division. The Flyers are 3rd and almost 15 pts behind the Rangers.

I am not liking the attitude they have rn, I know its because they are doing good in the standings and its Maurice's system to conserve energy but I dont think you can come out like that against Montreal just because they are bad, its been like this for a good week now. It seems like since they are happy where they are its go skate for a shift, maybe win a board battle and then do whatever with it and wait for the next line to come on. Of course they are still winning but its coming down to the wire against bottom feeder teams which is not good.
Panthers, Predators and Kraken all won, which means Vegas is the only team to never win on Leap Day!
You can make little signs at the arena, I think its an "amazon" thing.. Made one for #13 to get #40 and then he did. This was one of the FEW games that had more than needed Hab fans attending. Its been a minute since we have had an arena full of our opposition fans. All you new Cat fans- you have no idea how bad it was when these guys came to town and they were a good team. Don't chirp us in our house and expect to leave without it being reciprocated. 🙂

I committed the grave sin and praising Stolarz in the second period then he gets scored on less than a second left. I will keep my mouth shut about how good a goalie plays during the game.
Jaws you were absolutely right in Panthers deserved to lose this game. Montreal was quick with the puck all game and showed signs of what they can be in the next season or two.
Also, interesting that Reino leads the league in special teams goals in both categories. (First time since Lemieux in 96’ as per Goldie)
