  1. NHL debut. Time on ice 0:00 – Martin didn't stand a chance against this 6.7" monster of a kid. Welcome to the NHL kid. I like your moxie.

  2. He could be a guy to replace reaves.. Martin and undersized tough guy but tough. How would he fair against guys like lowery with Winnipeg, Foligno with Minnesota and Tinordi with the hawks? Think he has a future banging heads but Martin is not on the level as the above mentioned.

  3. It was Matt Martins idea to go with Rempe. Hats off to him, giving the new kid a moment in the spotlight! Man, I love hockey!!

  4. What a total clown. Put your hands down and skate to the box. Martin landed more shots

  5. That's one big kid. Matty doesn't get enough credit. He's one tough dude. I absolutely HATED the Leafs management when they traded him. I'm still sour.

  6. Wow so tough Rempe. Take on someone shorter and older than you without a visor.

  7. If people dont know, Rempe was interviewed after the game about the fight. When Martin lined up with him he said "Congrats on the debut, wanna fight?" Obviously Rempe obliged😂😂😂😂

  8. First off, this wasnt his first NHL game… You just cant put a kid like Matt on the ice and expect him to be a Nick Fotiu. He needs to be taught to throw punches with speed. He fights in slooowwwww mooootiooonnn.

  9. I love guys like Rempe, but I wonder if this kid would be like this if Chara was on the ice

  10. People are saying players are coming after him, I was at that game and Rempe like always dropped his gloves first , and no doubt the coach gave him the green light, and he's really 6'8.2 barefoot.

  11. With arms that long holding back on the shoulder it’s almost impossible for the other guy to get a punch at his head, more like hitting his neck.

  12. This kid is going to get hurt dokng this and his career will be over. Can't do this every game . Brain damage on the horizon.

  13. I really did like the good gentlemen’s gesture, where they both respectfully embraced each other in a quick nod at the end of the fight. They both know their roles, and they both accomplished what they were out to do. Much respect to both men.
