They should be embarrassed losing to a Roy coached team. Also with the decision to put an ad patch on the jersey. That does not belong in the sport in general. This is North American hockey. Not overseas or any other sport that uses them.

Come on people, an ad on the jersey did not lose this game for the Red Wings! They have had trouble starting on time all season and tonight it burned them. The last two games they had a geriatric Washington Capitals and a streaky St. Louis Blues. The Islanders also had three days before this one and clearly came in ready. Unlucky bounces and yeah, some pretty atrocious officiating. But go ahead and blame it on a stupid patch. Plenty of other teams, including Original 6 have them. I guess it's easier than admitting the guys just got beat last night. It's going to be okay people, playoff chase is still on LGRW!

I have said for the last two seasons. Ever since sports betting has been more acceptable, sports and penalty calls have been atrocious. And also. The fucking as on the jersey, mid heater, of an actual trash company, on the most iconic, and pure jersey in the league, is a fucking travesty. Illitch should be ashamed of his greed. With that extra money he better fix the district of Detroit.
Red wings lost almost every single puck battle. I couldn't believe my eyes. Everytime there was a puck battle along the boards in either zone islander came up with the puck 95% of the time! They were continously first to the puck! Wings had no puck management tonight. They went back to there old ways. Islanders forechecking was dominating the red wings. That was December red wings hockey. They better nip this in the bud real quick.
I never even noticed the patch. People sure are mad about it😅 as if it actually has any bearing on anything at all. Same people who were frothing at the mouth because they couldnt force players to wear gay pride jerseys are suddenly clamouring for decorum. Lets play hockey and not worry about it. This team is illitch's work truck and he can put whatever sign on it he wishes.
