  1. I have been trying to figure it out for years and have never been able to come to a conclusion.

  2. I strongly believe the song is "When you put your heart in it", by Kenny Rogers (Love the song). And thank you (rdosange) for sharing this clip with us…It took me back to the time when Pens flew high and we dared to believe and dream…

  3. This was when I first began to follow hockey; I still remember watching that final game; the Pens manhandled the Stars – uh, I meant North Stars – that night. Will always be one of my first hockey memories:-)

  4. Confirmed. Same as LostSouldivision68, it is "when you put your heart in it" by kenny rogers, from Album "something inside so strong", can get it from 2nd hand stores, discontinued, (i am new to youtube) please tell me where can i download this video? they should published these championship season in dvd, don't all of your penguins fans think so?

  5. I lived and died by the Pens that season-what memories. Too bad I have to mute the player to drown out the godawful song

  6. I didn't make the video or choose the audio. The tribute was made by hockey night in canada following the penguins victory in 1991

  7. Gene Larken hits into center filled ,Dan Gladden comes running home!! MINNESOTA HAS WON IT ALL!!

  8. Gene Larken hits into center field ,Dan Gladden comes running home!! MINNESOTA HAS WON IT ALL!!

  9. The pitch to Kirby Puckett comes, he takes a big whack at it… AND IT'S GONE!!!.. ..And We'll See you, tomorrow night!
*Oops, wrong 1991 championship series involving a Minnesota team* Seriously, How come there's ZERO 1991 World Series videos? I could add some, but I don't have the equipment.

  10. i have to agree with CCampLI, the video is way cool, but that song is totally gay

  11. the same Jon Casey who let up what is arguably my favorite Steve Yzerman goal of all time.

OT in St Louis in 1996….Blue Line blast-SCORE! STEVE YZERMAN!!!! DETROIT WINS!!!!

  12. Jesus. At least play something like "dream on" by Aerosmith or "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. This sounds like something straight out a Brooke Shields 80's romance flick.

  13. "The Twins are gonna win the World Series! The Twins have won it! It's a base hit! It's a 1-0, ten-inning victory!"

-Jack Buck, announcing for CBS, calling it as the Twins dispatched Atlanta in Game 7 of the '91 World Series…that oughta jog your memory for you Minny fans:-);-)

  14. that teamed was stacked with offence…lemieux, francis, coffey, jagr, recchi, stevens i think joe mullen was on that team too wasn't he?

  15. anyone ever realize how many italians played hockey through the 80s and early 90s, then they all seemed to disappear. carlo coliacovo is the last one, haha. not literally, but what a name
