eventually, you’d think we could turn a great prospect pool into a winning team.

Whitelaw is a stud. I have UW half season tickets, he’s absolutely a difference maker when he’s on the ice. He will likely be ready to make the jump to the NHL after next season.

4-D chess move by Jarmo to send down jiricek and bounce KJ around so that they would be included in these rankings

Lots of likeable prospects. Many are smaller forwards, but it’s a good collection. If they can add Cayden Lindstrom it really rounds out the forward core.

I personally am hoping for one more elite defensive prospect from the upcoming draft, preferably a RHD but it looks like Silayev has been playing on the right side as a lefty.

It’ll still take some time but this is a bounty of prospects.

  5.  » But Johnson has the gifts of a true top-six playmaker and I still believe he has the potential to be a first-line winger/producer with the right development, linemates and coach. »

I feel like this is an important sentiment. I’d hate to see us waste a player of KJ’s caliber because he doesn’t fit a coaches « system ».

I feel like we’ve been top 5 in these kinds of rankings for like 10 years.

Wow Columbros, coming in peace. Nice prospect pool. You’re going to be scary soon.

BFD. It seems like every year we’re rated to be in the top 3 or top 5 teams in the league for prospects, and what has it done for us? Anyone?
